A comprehensively revised AMG® 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine sits at the center of it - internally, the M177 EVO, built around a new flat-plane crankshaft, revised intake camshaft, optimized fuel injection, and an Integrated Starter Generator. What comes out the other end is 603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, sent through an AMG® SPEEDSHIFT® nine-speed automatic transmission and AMG® Performance 4MATIC+® all-wheel drive. Zero to 60 mph lands at an estimated 3.9 seconds; top speed is electronically limited to 174 mph.
AMG® RIDE CONTROL+® air suspension holds a consistent ride height under full payloads or shifting road conditions, while an electronically controlled AMG® locking rear differential decides how torque splits between the rear wheels. Even the exterior is refreshed, boasting a new grille, larger air intakes, an exclusive LED signature, and a newly engineered exhaust system.
Towing and Payload
This SUV can tow up to 7,700 pounds when properly equipped. Cargo volume ranges from 17.4 to 84.7 cubic feet depending on the seating capacity.
Technology Features
Three 12.3-inch displays live under one glass surface here, part of the standard MBUX Superscreen: a digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen, and a screen dedicated to the front passenger. MB.OS runs underneath all of it, integrating vehicle functions, handling over-the-air updates, and powering an MBUX Virtual Assistant that holds actual multi-turn conversations.
